Arnbjerg Pavillonen on the collaboration with AK Techotel
When partnerships last for many years, it is rarely by coincidence.
At AK Techotel, we have had the pleasure of working with Arnbjerg Pavillonen since 2009. The hotel is beautifully located next to Arnbjerg Park in the town of Varde and is known for its gastronomy, stays, and events set in historic surroundings. Following an extensive renovation and expansion in recent years, the property has developed into a modern hotel with strong local roots and a clear focus on great guest experiences.
The collaboration between Arnbjerg Pavillonen and AK Techotel dates back to 2009. In that connection, Managing Director Casper Rosendahl has shared a few words about the partnership and the role Picasso Digital plays in their daily operations.
“AK Techotel has been a consistent and important partner for us since 2009, and throughout those years they have supported a large part of our daily operations. Their booking system is now a central part of our business, and it is hard for us to imagine working with another system.”
An important part of the partnership has also been the continuous development of the system in step with the needs of the industry.

The system offers an incredible number of possibilities, and it is clear that it has been developed in close collaboration with hotels and other users in the industry. That means the solutions are not just technical features, but tools that actually make a real difference in everyday work.”
Increasingly, this development also involves new technology. Arnbjerg Pavillonen has adopted Picasso’s digital assistant Mona – a solution that helps handle several of the daily service tasks related to guests.
“Most recently, we have also started using their AI solution, Mona, and it has been another strong step forward. Mona helps with check-in, check-out, and sending key codes to our guests, among other things. This helps streamline workflows and creates a better experience for both guests and staff.”
As in any long-term partnership, situations occasionally arise that need to be resolved along the way. According to Casper Rosendahl, the difference lies in how they are handled.
“No systems or partners are flawless, and that applies here as well. Situations will always arise where something doesn’t work exactly as expected. The difference is how the supplier handles it — and here we experience that AK Techotel stands out in a positive way.”
